Looking for my dad. A repost

I posted this a while ago when I was actively searching for my biological father.  I had a dream last night I found him and he was looked a lot like Colonel Sanders. That would explain my obsession slight  interest with fried chicken and secret spice mixes...
Daddy??

Anyway, for those of you that are new here, I am looking for my dad. Here is just one of my lists of father possibilities. (I have many.)

As it turns out, the person I found on Facebook who might have been my father sadly is not. This person who was an exact name match (and we are not talking a name that many people would have) turned out to be a 33 year old  dark, gorgeous Italian American gentleman.
He was nice enough to respond to my crazy private message  and for that I think he will be my honorary father. In his reply did he not say,
" Ok freak, you listen and listen good. I am not your father. I suggest you stop being so crazy and leave me alone!"
What he did say was
" Hi Katie. I am sorry to say that I am not your father because in 1979 I was two years old and living in Southern California.  I wish I could have helped you more. Good luck in your search"   Sincerely, Name Matcher Guy

Which left me sad in a way but happy too because my would be father then sent me a friend request. I can not wait to see how my mom reacts when she sees that name in my list of friends. Heart Attack!

I guess I will just go back to my old list of 'father' possibilities. The partial list follows.
Thank you to Google images for the help with photos.

Steve Martin -My mom said that my father had salt & pepper hair. Steve-ahem- dad does too.  Plus, he's funny and when I try to be funny my mother has been known to say,
"Who do you think you are? Steve Martin?"
Coincidence?  I think not. (Also, the next time she says this, my reply will be:  Yeah. I do. At least half.)

This seems about right

Terry O'Quinn (you may know him as John Locke on Lost) - If he were my dad then I could be in Hawaii right now schmoozing with the cast of the greatest show ever. Oh, that would be like winning the biological lottery!

My Dad is a super snappy dresser. I helped him pick out that shirt.

Bill Clinton- Seriously, he could be ANYONE'S father. He is a known ladies man. Can't rule him out.

Hmm... Was I in Detroit in 1978?

Bill Gates- He fits none of the criteria my mother gave me but he is Bill Frickin' Gate$. For this reason, lets just add Warren Buffett too the list also. For funzies.  Dolla Dolla billz ya'll!

This seems about right too. I had this EXACT same hair cut in my mug shots!

Daddy Warren in a time out for forgetting 31 of my birthdays.

Last But not least Jimmy Buffett.  That would just be cool.  Big ol' party in Margaritaville!!

Silly glasses dad!  Who do you think you are?  Steve Martin?

The Search continues...

  4. I really enjoy your website and want to take a moment of your time to inquire about any guest posting opportunities that you may have on your blog. I've written an informational and educational article on the importance of early childhood education that I believe your readers of (http://nomissedopportunities.blogspot.com/) would be interested in.

Thank you in advance for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.
